For years I searched for recordings of Methodist hymns with vocals . Cannot find them though I find just the music. So, I began recording the first verse with vocals of the hymns mainly in services at Methodist Churches and in Sunday School Classes. The quality is not great of course as I used my Olympic 7600 PC recorder usually with no set up except holding it or placing at a near by spot. I am amazed sometimes that it even picks up the sound.
When looking through the various links and indexes I have prepared, you will find for identification purposes I used the wording and output of a computer generated index list containing part of the computer name, not as clear as just a normal title, but this saves me a lot of work: use your imagination to determine the full name. For example hymn064holyholy.mp3 would be the name of the file to link to to hear "Holy Holy Holy" from the latest Methodist Hymnal found on page 64
